Medal of the Order of the British Empire awarded to our Trustee, Richard Gregory

Richard Gregory, Trustee at Keys Co-operative Academy Trust has been awarded the Medal of the Order of the British Empire in the King’s New Year’s Honours List in recognition for nearly a lifetime of dedicated service to the third sector. 

Richard started his charity work aged just 7 when he organised his first event, a sponsored swim for the Sunshine Home for Blind Babies aged just 7. Since then he has organised countless events, helped to open charity shops as well sitting on boards for many organisations.  Despite his own worsening health problems he continues to serve the local community and the wider community where he can.
